Happy Monday friends!

Here are a few custom-made lovelies that I've been working on.

These signs are already sold, but if you'd like to place a custom order, please send me an email maweaver1@gmail.com.

Maternity Photo Shoot {Tea for Two}

I just had to share these fabulous photos of a maternity shoot that my friend Janelle created for herself. She is the queen of party planning and amazing little details, which you'll clearly see from these photos. She called the photo shoot "Tea for Two" and made and arranged everything herself. She has three little ones with one more lovie due in the summer.

Her talented friend Angela Stoltzfus was the photographer.

Don't you just love it?? You can visit Janelle's blog here.

Enjoy your weekend!

What I Wore Wednesday {Thrift Store Edition}

I'm linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for "What I Wore Wednesday". As usual, most of my clothes are from thrift stores, mostly Goodwill, and consignment shops.

I happen to be a thrift store addict, in case you haven't noticed.

Navy tank: Forever 21
Cardi: Goodwill (J. Crew)
Skirt: Plato's Closet consignment (Forever 21)
Belt & shoes: Goodwill

The cardigan is my most recent find! I have a ton of cardigans but I just couldn't resist the stripes.

When I bought the jean skirt from the consignment shop, it was too short, but I thought it was too cute to pass up. So I sewed some lace from an old curtain valance onto the bottom of it.

Black tank: Target
Yellow cardi: H&M
Skirt: made by me (see tutorial here)
Shoes: Ross

Gray top: Forever 21
Skinnes: Kmart
Scarf: Goodwill

Happy Wednesday!

Weekend Snippets

:: Went on a fun date with the hubster and one of our bestie couples to the Olive Garden. Even though it's not very original, it never disappoints. Hot, garlicky bread sticks anyone? I won't tell you how many I ate. Truthfully, I lost count.

:: Found some treasures while yard saling early Saturday morning. Oh, yes, and I had the breakfast of champions ~ 2 homemade egg rolls. So insanely delish.

:: Speaking of eating, we polished off a loaf of homemade bread and a tub of Amish peanut butter spread that I bought at an Amish yard sale. Oh my word, I think I gained at least 5 pounds this weekend.

:: Took care of Avery who got a bad stomach bug and was sick from Friday to Sunday night. The poor girl was so out of it all weekend. Lots of laundry and cleaning to keep up with the after-effects of the bug. Crossing our fingers that she didn't pass it along to the rest of the family.

:: Saturday was such a gorgeous day! While Avery laid on the couch inside, the rest of us were outside digging in the flower beds, planting flowers, mowing the yard, and getting dirty. It was a taste of summer-to-come, and I am READY!!

Happy Monday friends!

Sisters Night Out

{me, my sis Sara, and sis-in-laws Andrea & Heather}

I have the best family. Seriously.

They. Are. The. Best.

This week the girls went out for Thai food to celebrate my sister-in-law Andrea's birthday.

We headed to Sukhothai for dinner, and the food was amazing! Thank you Andrea for introducing me to Thai!!

Then we hit Prince St. Cafe for desserts and heavenly hot chocolate. Yum.

I'm so thankful for the relationships that we have, that we can be open and honest with each other, have tons of fun together, and that, most of all, we love each other unconditionally. Love you girls!

Happy Weekend friends!!

A Wedding {Cameron & Brittany}

I've gotten to know Brittany just in the past few months. She is artsy and creative and has helped me with my sign business a bit. She is one of the most easy-going and sincere girls I've met. Really, she is just a sweetheart. Unfortunately, she will be moving out-of-state soon and won't be able to be my helper anymore (so sad!), but hopefully we will still be able to collaborate on some projects together for my Etsy shop. She is embarking on a brand new phase of life now as a newly-wed, and I am so excited for her future!!

Here are some photos of her wedding from a few weeks ago. These pictures were taken by the talented Shar Halverson of Simply S Photography. I coordinated the wedding for Brittany, and it was so much fun working with their families and putting together all the details that she created.

The wedding was so pretty! It was relaxed but elegant and beautiful, too. Just like the bride.

The colors were just perfection.

Such a fun group of sisters and girlfriends!

This is one of the signs that Brittany painted for the wedding. I loved it!

And one of the reception centerpieces that she came up with. Isn't it fun? We put green apples and stock flowers into square glass vases, filled them with water, and stuck in curly willow branches.

The seating chart was made out of an old window that was turned into a chalkboard.

And another sign made by Brittany.

Best wishes Cameron & Brittany!!

Hello Monday

Hello beautiful big-girl camera that I'm finally starting to use after having it for a few weeks. I was intimidated to try it out for some reason, but now I'm officially addicted. It's a Nikon D3100 and so far, I love it.

Hello amazing Spring weather. You are my hero.

Hello little girls who are determined, feisty, and stubborn.

I'm convinced she gets it from her father. Her father does not agree.

Hello playing outside in the sunshine and getting dirty and having a blast. I. Love. It.

Hello tiny little veggie garden that I planted this weekend. It is probably the smallest garden you've ever seen. I'm not even kidding. I planted tomatoes, a variety of lettuce, onions, chives, dill, basil, and parsley.

Hello brand new week full of possibilities!

I'm linking up and saying hello with Lisa Leonard today. What are you saying hello to?
