Well, I suppose now is a good a time as any to let you in on a little secret....
We have a little bambino on the way!!
Thus, the major lack of postings and commenting by me. I'm about 10 weeks along and smack in the middle of morning sickness (or, as all you moms know, it's really mostly any-time-of-the-day sickness)! But in the middle of it, I'm trying to keep my chin up and remember that it'll all be worth it! It's definitely more challenging having a toddler to keep up with as well, but she makes me laugh all the time.
Today I was trying to discipline Avery for playing with my printer and in the middle of me holding her hands tight and telling her "no", she kept trying to give me kisses on the nose. It was just too much - I just had to laugh.
I'll keep you posted on my progress! We are super excited to have another little baby to add to our family!! :)
I knew it. I just knew it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I hope all goes well. Life is a miraculous thing and I pray all continues to go well for you and baby #2.
by the way....avery's hair really looks redish in that picture...it's adorable.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your and your family! I am sorry about the not feeling well part. My children are all 2 years apart, so I know exactly what you are talking about. When I was pregnant with last one, the oldest used to bring me my bucket because I was so sick I couldn’t even get off the sofa. I am sure people have told you this, but it is a good thing. Hope it passes soon though.

CONGRATULATIONS AMY! This is most exciting news! Thanks for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is an absolute doll. I'd just want to laugh and kiss her too, that phase of grabbing printers, keyboards and pulling stuff out of the dishwasher (and related activities) is so annoying when they are in the phase, but passes so quickly! And now you get to do it all over again! ;-)
Congratulations and eat lots of mashed potatoes. Those were my personal favorites during morning sickness months. :-)
Love,
Melissa
Yay!!!! How exciting for you and your family! I agree with the starches advice. I ate plain potato chips (just a few at a time) when I was nauseous. You wouldn't think it would help, but it did.
ReplyDeleteYour little Avery sounds so adorable. You actually gave me a pang when you related that story of her trying to kiss you on the nose. Enjoy the one on one time with her...time will fly and your newest little one will be here!!!
All the best,
Linda
Congratulations on your wonderful news! My daughter is expecting in March also and she is just starting to feel better and have a bit more energy.
ReplyDeleteJust came over from Linda's and am enjoying your blog. You, your little girl and home are adorable. I'll be back.
Sue
Ha! I can just imagine Avery doing that! :) Her little personality comes out more and more each day, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteOH, and aren't you just excited for "The Office" tonight?!?! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog not sure how I found you but we have many similarities! Although I am not pregnant! Congratulations, that is very exciting for you and your family. Hope you will stop by for a visit! I love The Office too and am glad that it is back!
ReplyDeleteSo, what did you think of the office?
