Balance

I'm struggling to find the right balance between

*taking care of kiddos
*my job (I work from home)
*spending time with the hubs
*taking care of the house
*doing volunteer activities
*hanging out with friends
*and doing things just for fun

Some days I'm successful and some days I really stink at it!
And today was a stink-bomb.
But at least tomorrow is always a fresh start and a new chance to start over!

  2. I'm with you on this one! For me the one that really gets out of wack is the kids become more of a priority then Kent. I have great intentions and then before I know it my whole day was spent thinking about what to make for dinner, laundry, meeting the kids needs, etc. My guess is over-all we moms do a pretty good job!! Better then we give ourselves credit for!

You, Aimee, are a delightful person and I think you do a wonderful job wearing (or juggling) your many "hats"!

    Hope your day goes well!

  4. yes, the tricky part of life as we know it! you're not alone, so that's comforting for sure! it's all about expectations i think and for the most part, our expectations are often TOO HIGH for our own good!!! (at least mine are). okay, breathing in and breathing out. :-)

  5. The 6 month mark... Hold out! At the 6 month mark, something magical happens and you start to notice that it's not as hard as it used to be. Still hard - just not like before. You start to "figure things out." There are at least 2 days a week where things go well instead of just 1. And by then - you have started to prioritize "the list." You know - those things that just don't get done anymore. And you finally become ok with the fact that the dishes are piling up. You have a set time to "work." And suddenly you know that even Martha probably needed help.

I promise - things will change. And so will you!

    Much love,
    amanda:)
