A Target Miracle

A miracle just occurred.

It was unexplainable, incredible, indescribable, phenomenal, supernatural.

I walked into Target and walked back out without buying a thing.

I know what you're thinking. How can this be? How is this possible?

I don't know.

Target is usually like an industrial-size vacuum cleaner to my wallet. I pick up cute stuff thinking "well, it's only just a couple of dollars" and I walk out of the store, looking at my receipt, saying "how did that happen?".

But today, I conquered the lure of the cute stuff.

Today, my wallet won.

  3. Those rare occasions of not succumbing to the lure of cute little things do increase as we get wiser and take the time to remind ourselves to hang on to and save those couple of dollars so we can later buy something substantial and useful.
I do understand the magical power of cute stuff, believe me!
