I don't like to brag, but I lead a very glamorous life.
Our personal chef cooks us gourmet dinners. The maid makes sure the house is spotless every day. The nannies take care of the children, and the tutors give them a top-notch education.
I go to the gym every morning, meet friends for lunch while attempting to avoid the paparazzi, spend the afternoon shopping, then come home to see my loving, clean, mannerly, educated children.
Evenings are spent going to fancy tea parties or other elaborate events. You can probably relate to my life, right?
This particular tea party was a benefit for an organization called NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard), which does much-needed work to help stop human trafficking. You can visit their Facebook page here.
Beautiful ladies (Hats are so much fun! Why don't we wear them more often?) |
My friend Julie & I probably talking about our kids. |
Despite my glamorous and posh life (ha, ha, it was a joke), it was SO MUCH FUN getting all dressed up, spending the evening with other people over the age of six, eating yummy food (not made by me), and hearing more about NIMBY. I soaked in the adult conversations, let me tell ya.

This makes me want to have a big ol' tea party in my back yard. I'm totally putting it on my list of things to do in the next year. Doesn't get much more girly than that!
The photos (except the last two) were taken by Lauren Fisher of Jeremy Hess Photography.

ReplyDeleteQuite useful information on this tea party. Couple of months ago, I arranged bachelorette party for my best friend’s and hired one of excellent Los Angeles venues. We had great time there and everyone liked arrangements from bottom of their heart.
ReplyDeleteIf you've recently gotten engaged, you may be looking for some engagement party ideas for the party you want to host to celebrate your engagement, starting with when to have the party, who usually hosts and/or pays for the event, where to have it and who to invite. While engagement parties aren't mandatory and so not all couples decide to have one, it's a great way for the couple's respective families to meet and give the bridal party to get a chance to get acquainted before the rehearsal as well. stag do

I recently attended a delightful tea party, where the conversations were as warm as the tea. I wore my favorite gildan g185 hoodie, which kept me cozy throughout the evening. The blend of good company and a comfortable outfit made the event truly memorable!
