Over the summer I was taking a break from taking new custom sign orders, but I am now officially starting to take orders again. In case you are new here, I make my signs using almost all antique salvaged barn doors.
If you'd like to place an order or have any questions, contact me here.
It was nice to have a bit of a break from custom signs, because it gave me a chance to stock up my online shop. Although most of my inventory is now sold. I'm excited to do custom work again! I love working with customers to come up with new ideas and designs!
Here are some of my recent custom signs...
And here's a sign from Jack's room that I just added to the shop. We changed some things around in his room (more on that next week!), and I didn't have space for it anymore. Check it out here!
Happy weekend friends!
Aimee!

I love your signs, especially the ones with scriptures!
ReplyDeleteYour work is seriously BEAUTIFUL!! Just wondering what kind of paint you use for the letters, just acrylic? I've tried a couple lettering projects, and it seems like I just need a ton of coats to even get the coverage I want. :/ Also, wondering how much time you spend on each of your signs. I know they're all different sizes, but some of the bigger ones, how many hours? Thanks. I want to try a few of my own. I just drool over your signs!!

I use acrylic paint for the lettering. Sometimes I need to use several coats. Most of my signs are fairly rustic, so the coverage doesn't need to be perfect. Time spent on the signs really depends on the type of wood I'm using. Approx. 2-4 hrs.
