We are lucky enough to have friends who are pilots (well, the hubby is anyway) and so we get the privilege of flying to different parts of the Northeast with them on quick trips.
We've gone to Niagara Falls, Boston, Atlantic City, and this weekend we headed to Cape May, NJ for the day - a little tourist town on the beach with lots of Victorian-style homes and white picket fences.
As you well know, I'm a house junkie, so I was doing a lot of gawking! Excuse the plethora of pictures!
Adorable Victorian homes in a row. Not my style, but still awfully cute!
And we got to explore the beach a little bit...
Yes, my belly is starting to round out very nicely, thank you very much.
We visited Cape May Winery and enjoyed walking around the vineyards and relaxing on their beautiful deck.
One the way home, we got to see a beautiful sunset from the airplane!
Landing at the Lancaster Airport - what a gorgeous flight we had! Thanks so much Mark & Mary!
By the way, thank you to everyone for your kind comments and concern from my last post! It's taking a little while to get over the stress of the whole situation, but I'm feeling so incredibly blessed! Thank you friends!!
I.Love.Cape.May! We have friends who live there and we make a point of visiting a few times a year. CM winery is a ton of fun too!

ReplyDeleteHey there. I was checking out Sassafras Stuff, saw Cape May on their site and just had to drop by. I love that place! I believe it is the cutest place on earth! Thanks for posting all the pictures. It was nice to take a trip down memory lane this morning.
ReplyDeleteMy Hubs and I LOVE Cape May...we visit once a year (sometimes more) and just love the local places to eat.
