First of all, she has to lounge around in her jammies and eat Cheerios off the floor. Her mother is too lazy to pick them up, I think. The 10-second rule has turned into the 0ne-day rule at our house. "Mom, I'm bored...and it's too early for pictures. I don't even have my make-up on yet."
And here she is toiling away as she busily packs a lunch for her hungry family. Poor thing. I wonder if she ever gets a chance to just relax and have fun.
And we can't forget about what a trial it is to suck that thumb all day long! "Mom, this is kinda embarrassing. Could you put the camera away already and just let me live my life?"
After a long, hard, stressful day on the job, she finally gets to relax and catch some much-deserved zzz's. Make that 12-13 hours worth of zzz's. (I'm not kidding; this kid loves to sleep)
Ah, to have such a life again.

Have you ever had a day where you were so full of energy, you could practically burst? I had one of those days today. I couldn't even walk - I had to run wherever I went. It was a day filled to the brim with stuff, stuff, and more stuff.
Grocery shopping at three different stores (sidenote: my favorite little farm store where I get milk, Lapp Valley Farms, actually reduced their milk prices! Can you believe it?? We are a huge milk-drinking family, like 3 gallons a week, so this was exciting news to me. Sorry if you were completely bored by this sidenote. Moving along...), laundry, post-weekend unpacking, laundry, travel agency work (Mondays are always super-busy), preparing a huge advertising project for my wedding planning business, laundry, making dinner (does throwing a frozen pizza into the oven count?), and finally finishing the laundry!
Whew! Because of complications from the miscarriage I had 4 months ago, I've been really lacking in the energy department, so now I guess I'm getting refueled! And I'm loving it!!

That is such a great post, love that little girl she is scrumptous, I have always said that kids somehow drain our energy and turn it into fuel somehow , I am so glad you are finally feeling better , these things do take time.
