Winter Wreath Idea

Here's an idea on how to make a winter wreath that's fairly easy and costs next to nothing.

I bought rectangular pieces of foam from the craft store, cut them to size to make a square, and hot glued the pieces together (an electric bread knife works great for cutting foam).

Then I hot glued moss and some artificial berries and greenery onto the foam.

Hang it from a pretty ribbon and you are good to go! I usually hang mine on my kitchen/dining room windows.

  1. I saw something similar in a magazine and told my friend that we were going to make some this year...but I think my creating time is already to scrunched with cards and gifts...maybe next year. Yours is so pretty though!

  2. That is gorgeous! I was just sitting in the FORD waiting room today (having a battery put in my van) and was flipping through a home decor magazine. Pottery Barn had an ad in the magazine and one of the items they were advertisign was a square bay leaf wreath for $99!!!! Yours is every bit as pretty as theirs! Here's the link if you want to see for yourself:

  3. very pretty! I just may leave mine up for the winter. I didn't go with the traditional red and green colors this year. I have blue and copper pointsettias in mine.
