I'm Addicted!

Ok, so you are probably sick of hearing me talk about my skirt-to-dress transformations, but I have yet another one! I'm officially addicted!

I wrote about my first one here and the second one here.

I'm a very amateur seamstress and this is actually the first project that I completed all by myself, with no help from my mom. Hubs bought me a sewing machine for my birthday and, I must say, I think I've found a new hobby!

Here's the skirt (it was cute, but made me look like a hippo - not good)...

And here's the final result!

I took the side seam in and used the leftover lace from the hem for the straps. So easy and cute!

  1. This one is my favorite!! Love it.

    Mary June MIller

  2. And one more comment - what is the paint color that use have on that wall with the hooks? I love that color. Mary June Miller

  3. Avery had this dress on in church yesterday! When I went to get Danae from Sunday school, I told Avery I loved her dress, and Danae said, "Mommy, I already told her I liked it!" :o)

  4. Mary June - the color is La Fonda Wild West Green by Valspar. I love it too! :)

  5. COME ON!!

I am sooo may have found yet ANOTHER BUSINESS!!
and good job hubs on the sewing machine! this dress is my far!

  7. You are a genius. Your dresses are so cute.

  8. Following you here after your comment... and oh my goodness, I think too we used the exact skirt!! How funny is that?! :) Love the lace straps you did on the shoulders! Isn't remaking so much fun!

I love hearing from you! Thanks for your comments! ~Aimee
